This Friday night it's gonna be willie's 1964 chevyII against my 1988 corvette in a best 3 out of 5 race grudge match. I'm hoping to get the vette into the 7.90's using 2 stages of spray with open headers and slicks. It's only made 1 pass using both stages with closed exhaust on street tires it's went a 8.17. I hope I can tree him just a little I think I'm gonna need everything to pull this off. ;D

Willie told me that he spent his money at gateway last weekend so he was a no show. That was good as I only went 8.13 on street tires and mufflers. But I did win the corvette bragging rights race on Saturday. Winning on a hole shot. It was a heads up race. I used 1 stage of spray left late and sprayed late " I was in the right lane" ran 8.82 to his 8.55 and still won. How was the new old Terre Haute?

Grudge races are usually more fun when both cars show up!
Terre haute was fun, but track prep left something to be desired. Hoch - legal tires were useless, may as well had snow on the track. Was able to run a 6.63 on drag radials, but 60' was not that great 1.55 was the best I could get, and its usually about 1.50 at CCD.
