My wagon will be back for more, and still nitrous free!!!

I'll be back for more punishment in '09. Can't wait for the first race! I've done a little bit of work to my suspension for this year. See you all at CCD!

Doug, if we're awarding points for best appearing car this year, you're off to a good start . I'll be happy if mine is just bolted back together in time for the first race. I have the same basic setup as last year, but hopefully I will "find" a few more mph in it for '09 I do have the motor and trans bolted back in the car, not yet running, but getting closer. I occasionally try to convince various people to come down and race with us, but it seems like they are only interested until I tell them how fast we're going. Have any ideas for improving the car count? Hopefully, all the old cars will make it back. Scott 1964 Nova wagon The FIRST and ONLY "ALL MOTOR" car in the Hoch six second club

How about 2 classes.......Naturly asperated and Boosted so the all motor purist could run together without trying to compete with all the nitrous cars. But that would leave just you and willie racing against each other.

But that would leave just you and willie racing against each other. "trying to compete". Ok , I see how you are! I say one class is plenty. Unless of course the Naturally Aspirated cars start getting too fast for the nitrous cars too keep up with. If y'all start a nitrous only class, I suppose I could add a small plate system to mine, just to make it more fair for you. I have not been to the track yet, I still have a few things to finish up on mine. At least it is running again, and far enough along to have managed a few "driveway" passes. I'm thinking of going on the 16th, the Saturday Street Legal deal to test.

I'm planning on going the 16th of May. I am going to run with slicks to see how much if any gains were made by cutting the top off of my carb.

Over 1/2 the Hoch's field showed up for "unofficial" test day. Jeff Jones was absent! What's up with that? BTW, The Bigblockwagon ran a blistering 6.56 @ 106.32 on old, tired, 255 drag radials. All motor baby!!!!! Scott

Scott, Did you get new heads? Congrats on the run! Puttin' down some naturally aspirated power! Wish I could have made it down there. Car still has no motor and tranny in it and the wiring is disected. Not enough time with my boys soccer and baseball games to get everything done. Thrashing on Thursday and Friday to try and make it for the first race.

I hope you're able to get get your car together in time for the first race. Finding time for the car stuff is a problem for me as well, Between my kid, wife, and the 5 acre lawn I'm always finishing up my car at the last minute. Maybe I need to get a herd of goats to take care of the lawn! And yes on the new heads - AFRs.
