"The following rules will be strictly enforced Factory produced steel bodied cars and trucks w/ factory appearing fiberglass replacements allowed. Must have all factory style body parts intact Must have stock appearing interior. Must have working headlights and taillights in stock location."
I would like a definition of STOCK APPEARING. Who is going to make the call.
What I would like to know is this:
1. How can a fiberglass dash be STOCK APPEARING? 2. How can a fiberglass dash from a different year vehicle be stock appearing? 3. How can a car with an aftermarket steering column be stock appearing? 4. How does a car with doube framerails become stock appearing?

1. How can a fiberglass dash be STOCK APPEARING?
They are molded off of a stock dash. Looks completely stock when done correctly. Get with VFN, they make some nice stuff.
2. How can a fiberglass dash from a different year vehicle be stock appearing?
Rule doesn't say stock appearing for body style used. Just stock appearing. Why not update the look a little. Street rod guys do it all of the time.
3. How can a car with an aftermarket steering column be stock appearing?
Again a street rod thing. Flaming River, Ididit, Billet Specialties all make aftermarket columns. Even the full race deals can look fine. I can cut down a bone stock column to nothing more than a stick with a wheel on it. Plastic around it don't do nuthin. Why does it have to have a turn signal lever and gear shift on it to be stock? I think it falls within the spirit of the rules.
4. How does a car with doube framerails become stock appearing?
How does a car with a 6 point roll bar become stock appearing? Don't even waste my time with this question!
Why are you crying about factory molded glass dashes when you have sheet metal door panels and no carpet? get over it Matt. It ain't worth it. I would be more concerned about putting a third kit on that thing and trying to win 5K.

No Carpet??? I got more carpet in my car than any 3 other Pro Street cars. I am just missing the part that went under my feet. THATS IT! I have carpet all the way to the rear of the car. As for the door panels, you act like they are some pieces of $hit that somebody just threw in and called it a day.
Point blank... Is my car AS IT SITS RIGHT NOW, legal or not?
